Annual Fort Bliss Tour of Homes

This popular FBSA event is open to the general public.

Grab your friends and come tour the historic homes of Fort Bliss. This semi-self guided walking tour offers a peek into several of our oldest residential homes.

Tickets are available to those 12 years of age or older. Tickets purchased prior to December 7th are $15 and will receive a complimentary Christmas ornament, while supplies last. You may purchase tickets the day of or “at the door” for $18.

Proceeds of this event benefit FBSA’s community grants and scholarships programs.

Civilian Guests, please note: Fort Bliss requires civilian visitors to obtain a visitor’s pass by presenting a valid U.S. Government issued photo ID inside one of the following Visitor Control Centers. Civilians can find a visitor control center at the Buffalo Soldier or Chaffee gates.

Buffalo Soldier VCC: 5 AM-9 PM, M-F

Chaffee VCC: 24/7

All DoD ID card holders (military, dependent, retiree, and DoD/DA civilians) are authorized to escourt those that do not possess a DoD ID card or Visitor’s pass onto the installation. Individuals being escorted must possess a valid form of government issued photo ID card and present it when entering at the gate.

As a reminder, all drivers requiring entry to the installation must possess a valid state issued driver’s license, vehicle registration document, and proof of insurance for a pass to be issued. All vehicles are subject to random security inspections.

*Effective 01/2016, driver’s licenses from Arizona, Missouri, Illinois, Minnesota, and Washington are no longer accepted as a valid single form of ID to access Fort Bliss, due to their non-compliance with the Real ID Act. Visitor’s who possess driver’s licenses from these states should bring an alternate form of permissible, valid U.S. Government issued photo ID.
