We are so excited to announce that The FBSA 2023-2024 Scholarship Application

DEADLINES AND PROCEDURES

All materials must be received by 25 March 2024 to be considered.
Applications must be completed using a word-processing program; handwritten applications will not be accepted.
Recipients of merit scholarships will be notified by 15 April 2024 and be invited to an awards ceremony (or alternative) to be presented their award in May of 2024
Intended school of choice should be disclosed no later than 31 May 2024
Final disbursement of scholarship monies will be made by 02 August 2024 and must be used by 31 May 2025 or the money will be returned to the FBSA.

Who is Eligible? All spouses and dependents of Active Duty or Retired Military, Gold Star Families, GS Civilian Employees
Is it worth applying? YES! The FBSA awarded over $38,000 in scholarships in 2023
What if I am already in college? APPLY! There are several categories we award scholarships to, including: HS Senior, Continuing College Student
How many volunteer hours do I need? A minimum of 10 hours during the current academic year
When is the application deadline? The FBSA Scholarship Application will need to be postmarked no later than March 15, 2024
