Volunteer With Us!
Did you know that you can add volunteer positions to your resume? A volunteer is someone who willingly and freely provides a service to an organization, person, or group without financial or social gain. Volunteers are tremendously important, but why volunteer?

-
Volunteering affords a person the opportunity to gain new experiences and knowledge, while also exposing them to people, places, situations, and environments they may not otherwise experience. Volunteering will expand your horizons, so to speak.
-
Volunteering builds relationships. Having relationships and connections with other people is vital. Volunteering puts you in direct contact with people of all ages, from the elderly down to children, and from many different places and walks of life. Working alongside and building relationships with those you volunteer with is an excellent way to network, build relationships, and learn how to deal with an assortment of different personalities.
-
Volunteering gives you a sense of accomplishment and makes you feel good. You volunteer on your own time, without pay, and without recognition. That alone is amazing, but to keep doing it is truly an accomplishment.
-
Volunteering is a way to give back. Giving your time and talents willingly, and without complaint, is one of the greatest forms of giving there is.
